Getting Started
I've found that the deepest and most meaningful work in therapy happens when a trusting relationship has been established between therapist and client or couple.
As a first step, please reach out through the contact form to request a complimentary 20-minute consultation call - this is where all new clients begin. If you have questions beforehand, feel free to include them in your note. I'll follow up by email to find a time to connect by phone.
On our call, we'll briefly discuss what's bringing you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of the work. This is also a chance for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, ask questions, and consider whether we feel like a good fit. From there, we can talk through next steps together.
If it feels like a good fit, I'll send you the necessary forms and we'll confirm the details for your first session. Virtual sessions take place through a secure platform and in-person sessions are held at my office in Lower Manhattan. If it doesn't feel like the right fit, that's completely okay too - I'm happy to help point you toward other resources or providers who might be a better match.

Individual sessions are $200, couples sessions are $250 (both 55 minutes). I don't accept insurance directly, but I provide superbills, and for individual sessions I can submit claims on your behalf through Thrizer.
A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available based on need. Please reach out to ask about current availability.

Unfortunately, not at this time. I'm licensed in New York State, so I can only see clients who are located in New York during our sessions, whether in-person or virtual.

Adults and couples. I do not currently work with children or adolescents under 18.

My practice offers weekly therapy for adults and couples. I am not able to provide crisis intervention, 24/7 support, or higher levels of care such as intensive outpatient or inpatient treatment.
